The recognition network

One membership. Recognized everywhere.

An organization issues one pass to its members. Every place that welcomes them recognizes it: on a website, in a store, at the register, at the door. No lists to share. No codes to leak. Always current.

The Recognition Network A community issues one membership pass through Bothy. The member carries it on any device. Every recognizer surface — websites, online stores, in person, and doors — recognizes the same pass. All of it is powered by InsumerAPI, the condition-based access API, which can verify any condition across 37 chains. Issue once. Recognized everywhere.

Most membership perks are a copy of a list. The organization emails a roster or hands out a code, every place keeps its own version, and it all goes stale the moment someone joins or leaves.

Recognition flips that. The member carries the membership itself. Anywhere that welcomes their organization simply recognizes it, live, and only the real member is recognized. Nobody passes a list around, and nothing has to be kept in sync.

  • The member carries it. One membership, in their pocket, good in every place that welcomes it.
  • It can't leak. Nothing to forward, screenshot, or paste. Recognition is not a shared secret.
  • It's always current. Leave the organization and recognition simply stops, everywhere.
  • No list changes hands. A place learns one thing: that someone is a member. Never who they are or what they own.

Three steps, and then it just runs

1 · The organization issues a pass

A team, club, school, union, nonprofit, or company creates one membership and gives it to its people. It lives in each member's own pocket, on any device.

2 · The member carries it

The member does nothing to maintain. The same membership travels with them to every place that recognizes their organization.

3 · Places recognize it

A website unlocks content. A store applies member pricing. A register or a door lets them in. Each place chooses which memberships to recognize, and recognizes only those.

Always kept honest

Recognition is checked live every time. When a membership ends, every place that welcomed it stops recognizing it, with no list to update.

One place to issue. Many places to recognize.

The issuer

Bothy is where a community issues its membership and manages who belongs. Add a member and they're recognized everywhere at once. Remove them and recognition stops everywhere.

The recognizers

The places that recognize the membership. Turn recognition on and it reads the same membership, with nothing to wire together:

  • SkyeGate recognizes members in website content: pages, posts, downloads.
  • SkyeWoo and Skye Recognition for Shopify recognize members at checkout and POS with member pricing.
  • Pass and Scanner recognize members in person, at a register or a members' door.

Three sides, one membership

Organizations

Give your people one membership that opens content, pricing, and doors, wherever you choose to offer them. No roster to hand out, no codes to chase, and you decide who belongs.

Merchants & places

Recognize the memberships that matter to your customers and reward them automatically. No coupon program, no member list to hold, and the pricing is always current.

Members

Carry one membership that's recognized everywhere it's welcomed. Nothing to install, no code to remember, and you never hand over who you are to get your perk.

Recognition without identity

A place learns only that someone is a member. It never sees their identity, their other memberships, or anything they hold. Privacy is the default, not a setting.

The place only learns they're a member.
Never who they are, or what they own.

Where memberships are recognized now

The network is built to be recognized anywhere a member shows up. Live today:

What it looks like for a school

A school issues one membership pass to its families. A parent opens the PTA newsletter online, gets the member price at the coffee shop down the street, and walks into the spring concert, all with the same pass. No logins, no codes, no roster handed around. One membership, recognized everywhere.
