You do not need any crypto, any apps, any code, or a credit card to start. Ready? Here's the whole thing.
Go to the Bothy dashboard and enter your email. We'll send you a 6-digit code. If you're one of the first 50 communities, your first year is free.
Check your email, type in the 6-digit code, and you're in. That's your sign-in every time. No password to remember, no key to lose.
You'll also get a license key in that first email. You can ignore it for now. It's just a backup, or a way to hand one community's access to a volunteer.
Add your community's name and a logo. You can upload a logo, paste a link, or let us pull it from your website automatically. This is what your members will see.
If you have a website, you'll do a quick one-time check that it's really yours. The dashboard gives you three ways; the easiest is pasting a small line of text into your homepage. It changes nothing visible, and you can undo it afterward.
No website? Totally fine. Just tick "we don't have a website" and move straight on. Lots of clubs and teams don't have a site.
Tap create, confirm your name and logo, and your community's membership pass is live. We handle all the blockchain machinery behind the scenes. You just get a real, tamper-proof membership that can't be copied or faked.
Add members by email one at a time, or upload your whole list (a spreadsheet works). Each person gets an invite, taps once, and sets up their pass in about a minute, with Face ID or just their email. Nothing to install, nothing for them to pay, ever.
Your first 50 member seats are included. Need more? They're $20 per 50, one time.
Now choose where your pass counts. You don't need all of these; pick what fits:
• Members-only pages on your website (if you run WordPress)
• Member prices in your online store (if you run WooCommerce)
• A perk at the register (staff scan a member's pass in person, works for anyone)
No website or store? Start with the in-person Scanner, or simply enjoy that your members now carry one pass that works everywhere in the network.
