Our Founder
Douglas Borthwick, CEO & Founder of Skye Meta, brings over 30 years of finance and tokenization expertise to security token advisory services. As Chief Marketing and Business Officer for INX Limited, he led their groundbreaking blockchain IPO - the world's first SEC-registered security token offering - raising ~$85 million and structuring numerous regulated security token raises with The INX Digital Company.
He has served in the C-Suite for both US and Canadian public company entities.
Creator of the revolutionary "Insumer Model," Douglas pioneered the concept of transforming customers into stakeholders through tokenized equity, detailed in his bestselling books "The Insumer Model" and "Your Equity in Your Pocket."
His Wall Street experience includes senior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Standard Chartered Bank, where he managed derivatives trading groups in New York and London specializing in emerging markets.
Education: Degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Yale University's School of Management
Current Roles: Douglas provides security token consulting and digital asset advisory services as CEO of Skye Meta.
