ETH is where the books actually split today

Bitcoin sits at $62,791 with the crowd about even and options barely leaning either way. The one real positioning story is in ether, where the two venues are reading the trade differently.

Positioning & volatility

AssetFunding (blended)25Δ skewImplied / realized volOpen interest
BTC+7% (HL +11 / OKX +3)-5.937.2 / 36.8$2.26B
ETH+5% (HL +11 / OKX -1)-3.850.8 / 48$1.60B
SOL+8% (HL +11 / OKX +4)n/an/a / 52$0.35B

Funding annualized; negative means shorts pay longs. 25Δ risk reversal in vol points; negative means downside hedged. Snapshots, not positions.

BTC is the picture of a market that agrees with itself: funding blended out to balanced, 25d skew a shallow -5.9, and implied vol at 37.2 against realized 36.8, which is as flat a spread as you will find. Nobody is paying much for either tail. ETH is the exception. Funding there reads longs pay, and the split between venues is premium-confirmed, so this is real leaning and not a mechanics artifact. Ether's skew at -3.8 is milder than BTC's, and implied at 50.8 sits just over realized 48, so the tape and the pricing are close. SOL rounds it out balanced, with no skew or IV to lean on and realized running 52.

ETH funding runs +10.9% on Hyperliquid against -1.4% on OKX, and because the premium confirms it, this is genuine disagreement about direction. One book has longs paying up while the other tilts the other way. That is the sharpest split on the board.

What the prediction markets believe

Kalshi has BTC above $62,000 at 100%, essentially dead-on the fair mark at a -0.2pp gap, so the event leg and the spot picture are saying the same thing.

Bottom line

Watch whether ETH's venue split resolves or widens once flow picks up, because that is the only place the crowd is genuinely divided. Everything in BTC and SOL is priced calm and confirmed calm. The tokenized-equity leg is frozen with equities closed.
